6-wk and 5 week Spring/Summer Programs (train & play)

The HHA Train and Play program will take youth and middle school players through a skills training program designed to take their game to the next level. Players will skills sessions along with sports performance and open gym times to play 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3 and to work on their skills or test their skills at the HHA Facility.

The 6-week program is designed to take players through a detailed program which will consist of:

Shooting progressions

Ball Handling progressions

Finishing moves (both post play and finishing off of a drive)

Passing Skills

How to read and counter different types of pressure

Building your basketball IQ

Sports Performance Training

Players will be tested through simulated games, small sided games and restricted games.  The open gym will be a place players also will be able to test their skills in live 2 on 2, 3 on 3 and 4 on 4 situations without the fear of making mistakes.  This is their testing grounds to try new skills in game situations.  Players can leave open gym at any time if they need to leave early as this is an true open gym setting to compete and have fun but an unstructured game environment.  Players can attend both sessions per week.  If you miss a session, you do not get to make up the time on another day an..Drop ins are not allowed in this class.
